I’m Susan Wiesemann.

Author, speaker, retired superwoman, autoimmune disease overcomer, and believer in (and recipient of) miracles.

I was once an over-anxious full-time working mom who thought she needed to be a superwoman. I thought God was too busy and distant to have a relationship with me, so I did everything in my own strength. When I got sick with an “incurable” autoimmune disease, I discovered that God had been there all along - just waiting for me to reach out to Him. God showed me how to heal from the inside out, and now I’m on a mission to help other superwomen ditch their capes, too. I discovered that my faith + (healthy) food + fitness + fun = freedom. Now, I’m an author and speaker who shares tips about living your best life on Instagram, at speaking engagements, and through my newsletter.

Ditch the cape. Step into God’s grace.

For every woman who’s ever felt like she’s not enough, who’s tried to outrun insecurity with performance and people-pleasing, Undoing Super Woman is a breath of fresh air. With candor and humor, Susan shares her deeply personal journey of learning to let go of control, silence the inner critic, and redefine what strength really looks like.

This down-to-earth, relatable, road-tested field guide is the spark women need to go from chronically stressed and overwhelmed to living their best lives. Susan invites readers to ditch the cape, step into God’s grace, and discover that real freedom comes not from doing more, but finally doing less.

Peeps, I love talking about Jesus, delicious food, staying healthy, living a life of intention, and any other fun stuff that’s floating around in my brain. Not necessarily in that order. I won’t flood your inbox (pinky promise!), but I will keep you in the know.
